•    Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, Suzuki Malaysia shall not be held liable for failing to provide the
     Suzuki Assist members with Suzuki Assist Services in the following situations:-
•    Where the provision of the Suzuki Assist Services is required outside the Territories: (Malaysia,
     Singapore and borders of South Thailand only),
•    Where the provision of the Suzuki Assist Services is required during Events of Force Majeure,
•    Where any such Suzuki Assist Services is interrupted and/or, delayed due to nationwide power failure,
     or in any way affected due to Events of Force Majeure.

•    For the avoidance of any doubt, Suzuki Malaysia does not provide emergency telephone call assistance
     with regards, emergency situations, life threatening, personal injury, suicides, contacting the fire brigade,
     police, ambulance or emergency services.

•    Suzuki Malaysia shall not be held responsible for any costs, expenses and fees incurred in the course of
     providing the Suzuki Assist Services in the following situations:-
•    Any cost of spare parts/ fuel supplied / expenses / charges / labour charges / repair charges of Contractors
     and / or incurred by Suzuki Assist Members, and / or third parties; and
•    Telephone charges, accommodation, taxi fares and toll charges incurred by the Members
     and/or third parties,
•    Cost of services covered by motor insurance policy, against which claim is also made,
•    Breakdown beyond gazetted roads, e.g. estate road (Note: If the vehicle is loaded with goods, arrangement
     can be made with Suzuki Assist call centre to transfer and transport the concerned goods on
     a chargeable basis).

•    Suzuki Malaysia shall not be held responsible for:-
•    Failing to provide assistance in the event that there was insufficient information provided
     by the Suzuki Assist Member,
•    Providing / failing to provide services in the event of a Suzuki Assist Member
     was participating / abetting / conspiring in any illegal activity or participating / abetting / involved
     in a prohibited / restricted activity under any contract / arrangement.

•    Suzuki Malaysia shall not be held responsible / liable in the event/ situations that:-
•    A Suzuki Assist Member or the authorised driver did not possess a valid driving licence issued by
     a competent authority,
•    The vehicle concerned had been modified for racing, trials or rallying or participating in such activities,
•    The vehicle concerned was carrying more passengers or towing a greater weight than for which it was
     designed as stated in the manufacturer’s specifications or arising directly from unreasonable
     driving of the vehicle on unsuitable terrain,
•    The vehicle concerned was not in a road worthy condition and had not been regularly serviced in
     accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications,
•    Mechanical breakdown due to lack of oil, petrol, water, frost damage and central locking system
     failing or key was accidentally left and locked from inside the vehicle,
•    Where the breakdown occurred in a non-gazetted road and where information on the location
     of the vehicle is insufficient or not available.

 

•    Suzuki Assist Members shall comply:-
•    With the operating procedures and answer all the questions designated by Suzuki Malaysia from
     time to time,
•    The Suzuki Assist Members have valid and existing memberships with Suzuki Malaysia and that
     the Suzuki Assist Members shall provide their membership numbers to Suzuki Assist Call Center,
•    Suzuki Assist Members shall update its members’ detail to Suzuki Malaysia promptly from time to time,
•    Suzuki Assist Members shall fully indemnify and hold harmless Suzuki Malaysia against all claims,
     losses, damages incurred due to inaccurate information.
